Dispatcher Team Member will be responsible for the following:  As a dispatcher they will be the central hub for the Housekeeping department. They will be available to answer calls for guest needs and input the information into HotSos. They will be responsible for monitoring HotSos, if calls are longer than our required complete time they will be responsible for contacting the appropriate Team Member to get updates.  The dispatcher will work with the front desk to coordinate any project work that will need to be done.  They will also control Rush Rooms, VIPs, late check outs, continuing reservations or special cleaning requests.  The dispatcher will be responsible for working with Floor Inspectors to ensure they are updated with all the necessary information.

The housekeeping dispatcher will assist the housekeeping staff in directing the operations of the Housekeeping Department so as to meet the expected level of guest satisfaction.Responsible for communicating necessary information to housekeeping department, front desk personnel and hotel guests.Answer phones and accurately document and communicate information in a timely mannerDemonstrates the ability to work cohesively and professionally with all front desk team members.Responsible for updating the status of all hotel rooms, and keeping the housekeeping team informed on stay overs, turndown service, and do not disturb guest rooms.Accurately maintains a call log of all communication receive/sent to include call generation and dispositionVerifies that that all room statuses are correct in the computer at the end of the day and properly follows up on any inconsistencies.Maintain a complete list of current issues and maintain a record of all inventory issues to be able to keep management staff up-to-dateMust be proficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelMust be able to type at least 40wpmOther duties assigned

Able to read and interpret instructions and direction for guestsAble to communicate without impediment with guests and staff in all areas relating to guest serviceMust be able to communicate effectively in EnglishSelf-starting personality with an even dispositionAbility to communicate information and hotel services to management and guests. Qualifications

Must-Haves:

High school diploma or GEDSix (6) months Hotel dispatching or equivalent experience required. Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
