Description du poste

American Iron & Metal is looking to add a Dispatcher to join our growing logistics team. As an AIM dispatcher, the candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to all accounts while scheduling company drivers to service customers. This is a fast-paced dynamic environment that requires the ability to problem solve and will provide the chance for learning every day. This will be a night shift from 10:30pm-7:00am

What you're responsible for: 

Distributing and coordinating customer service calls. Communicating between scale operators, yard operations and drivers. Directing trucks and providing detailed feedback to scale on quality of material. Monitoring driver hours within provincial compliance regulations. Tracking incoming and outgoing orders Ensuring safe operation process and procedures are directed and followed. 

Qualifications

Additional Qualification Preferred

Minimum 2 years of fleet dispatching experience. Roll-off and Lugger knowledge preferred. Knowledge of border crossing and paperwork processes is an asset. Knowledge of MTO Rules and Regulations. Knowledge of various types of truck and trailer combinations.
