**Amentum** is seeking a **Dispatcher/** **Security Guard** to work in **Andros Island, Bahamas** on the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) project. The **Dispatcher/Security Guard** will perform functions at AUTEC in support of a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and government assets on the AUTEC project. **This position requires the individual to be eligible to obtain a US Government Secret security clearance; US citizenship is required.** **Please note this is for a future requirement coming available within the next couple of months.** **Essential Responsibilities:** + Evaluate and prioritize 911 incoming emergency and nonemergency calls. + Dispatch appropriate emergency services (Navy Security Forces, fire, or medical) personnel. + Operate a variety of dispatch and alarm systems to determine cause of alarm and initiate the appropriate response. + Maintain daily events, emergencies, processes, and/or notifications received according to protocols. + Prepare and maintain reports + Obtain and maintain within 6 months of employment DoD telecommunication I and II certification + Obtain and maintain within 6 months of employment DoD Hazmat Awareness and Operations certification. + Obtain and maintain within 6 months of employment certification in Basic Life Support Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) + Performs other job-related duties as assigned. + Ability to work 12hrs shifts, day or night for no less than 5 days. + Performs other job-related duties as assigned. **Minimum Requirements:** + At least 1 year of specialized Dispatch experience in the private or public sector. + At least 1 year of experience operating radio communication equipment to dispatch services and receiving incoming telephone or alarm systems calls. + High school graduate or equivalent. + Adept at working with computer systems and applications with specific knowledge of the Microsoft Office Application Suite. + Must be able to climb stairs and/or ladders. + Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds of material or equipment. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + **Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.** + **Pass a physical examination given by a licensed physician or health care professional.** + **Valid driver’s license and passport will be required.** + **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.** **​Preferred Qualifications:** + 2 or more years of specialized Dispatch experience is preferred. + 1 or more years of Security Guard experience and certification as a Security Guard is preferred. + DoD telecommunication I and II certification is preferred. + DoD Hazmat Awareness and Operations certification is preferred. + Basic Life Support Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is preferred.
