Apple’s Display EE Core Technology Team is the brains behind cutting-edge display tech. We’re on the hunt for an expert engineer to bring innovative display algorithms and architectures to life on our next-gen display pipeline across Apple’s display portfolio. **Description** As a highly skilled engineer in the Core Technology Team, you will be responsible for and actively involved in the following: - Develop novel algorithms to meet critical display use cases, and break them down into sub-architectures as display requirements to collaborate on implementations with key cross-functional partners including SoC, Display Silicon, Display Module, SW, and factory. - Conduct comprehensive visual and quantitative assessments of the algorithms and architectures. - Enhance tools to speed up the design-to-validation cycle and evaluate new display features’ efficacy and user benefits using live and field data. - Investigate and analyze issues to find gaps and opportunities, and propose alternative algorithms and architecture designs. **Minimum Qualifications** + B.S. in EE/CS or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience + Experience with traditional image/video processing algorithms and/or architectures. + Experience with high-level programming languages such as C/C++, MATLAB, Python, etc. **Preferred Qualifications** + M.S or Ph.D. in EE/CS, or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant industry experience. + Experience with hands-on AI/ML approaches in real-life applications. + Knowledge in color and vision science. + Knowledge in front-of-screen validation and evaluation. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Excellent math and analytical skills. **Pay & Benefits** At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
