**What you'll bring to the team** Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Displays Supervisor to join our Zoo team! In this role you will be responsible for supervising the safe and efficient delivery of the SEALIFE centre operation, helping to drive the continual development and innovation within the animal display areas, as well as ensuring the highest standards of animal husbandry, welfare and guest experience. Working closely with direct reports and Displays Curator, you’ll undertake the vital day to day tasks involved in caring for our amazing creatures. You’ll ensure our vital life support systems are always operating correctly along with driving standards of cleanliness and presentation of our displays, always striving to make them the best they can be. Ensuring suitable diets and feed plans are in place, as well as robust health, medication, and treatment regimes for our many species, you’ll also continually develop our excellent animal welfare across the whole collection. **Qualifications & Experience** + You’ll already be an experienced aquarist + Have practical knowledge of aquatic animal husbandry, associated life support systems and public aquarium procedures, protocols and health and safety + Ensure the welfare standards of SEA LIFE centre species are “best practice” and comply with all relevant guidance and legislation. + Proven experience to lead a team and get the best out of them + Self-motivated and proactive individual + Be a pro at troubleshooting, thinking on your feet, prioritising and making decisions + Have a good understanding of zoo licensing standards, processes, and requirements. + Ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant bioscience, animal care discipline. + Having an understanding of best welfare practices for marine mammals and aquatic birds is a bonus. **Benefits** + An annual salary of £31,000 + 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + ‘Enjoy the Ride’ Merlin Annual Passes - 6 in total per year, 1 for you, plus 5 to gift to loved ones! + Merlin Magic Pass - 20 free tickets for you, your family and friends to enjoy all of our Merlin Attractions across the world rising to 40 after a year’s service + Company bonus + Private pension scheme + 40% discount online off LEGO + 25% discount in our on-site retail shops and restaurants + Ongoing training and development opportunities + Plus, many more… **Pay Range** GBP £31,000.00/Yr.
