Assist, and potentially lead, efforts for the day-to-day implementation and execution of the 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), 2001, 2003, 2004, and SEAD 3 requirements, and ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Also provide support or manage various duties to include clearance processing, visit requests, document control, physical security, ID badges, alarm response, or other general office duties.
What you’ll be doing as a DISS Admin Specialist:
Manage the company’s Defense Information System for Security (DISS) account.Initiate, review, and process Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Process (NBIS/SF86) for allemployees, consultants, and subcontractors requiring access to classified material.Evaluate interview questions and identify potential adverse information that could impact the clearance investigation process, in accordance with DoD adjudicative guidelines, for employees, consultants, and subcontractors.Maintain accurate, up to date rosters of all cleared personnel, clearance and access levels, and personnel security clearance background investigations.Provide leadership data and recommendations regarding anticipated increases, decreases, overages, and shortfalls in cleared personnel.Assist/conduct initial and annual refresher security briefings in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117.Conduct security debriefings of cleared employees leaving the company or having access removed.Submit Foreign Travel by covered personnel into DISS and assist with security debriefings for returning travelers as needed.Process all requests, carry out all tasks, and appropriately document all classified visits by non-Bell employees requiring access to classified material at Bell and Bell employees requiring access to classified material at non-Bell locations.Maintain records of approved Visit Requests associated with parent and affiliated companies to expedite visit requests and contact reports and assist employees as needed.Maintain knowledge of applicable government regulations, such as changes to 32 CFR Part 117, 2001, 2003, 2004, and/or SEAD 3 requirements, to include new Industrial Security Letters and procedures, as necessary to maintain compliance.Assist with any and all areas of responsibility required for compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, to include routine self-inspections, annual DCSA Security Reviews, investigations of security incidents and infractions, etc., as needed.Assist with the creation, modification, and/or implementation of policy documents relevant to Bell Global Security, as needed.We’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. Ability to act and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision or support from team members.Excellent people skills, with experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.Excellent written and verbal presentation skills able communicate well with team members, customers, program managers, and senior leadership.Demonstrate excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge/experience using Microsoft Office applications.Knowledge of DoD Security forms and the personnel security clearance background investigation process.Ability to operate standard DoD Security clearance databases and tools, including DISS, NISS, and NBIS.Experience with DISS/NBIS/NISS/Access Commander.What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s Degree required.5 years of security experience at a DoD (Department of Defense) Cleared Contractor Facility.Possession of, or the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.What we offer you in return:
