OVERNIGHT - DISTILLER I
SHIFTS: 4 DAYS A WEEK /10 HOURS A DAY
SCHEDULE: SUNDAY - WEDNESDAY OR TUESDAY TO FRIDAY
SALARY: $25.75/HOUR
OVERNIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: +$4.00/HOUR

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Distiller I is responsible for daily production including mashes, fermentations, distillations, dilutions, barreling, proofing, and the production of non-alcoholic mixers including Bloody Mary mix, and ready-to-enjoy cocktails. They are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall sanitization of distilling equipment and piping. The Distiller also manages daily record keeping of production activities as required by State, Federal and other certifying agencies. This position works under the loose general direction of the Operations Manager. This position is essential for products manufactured in the distillery and food grade production area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure compliance with Food Safety Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Complete daily distilling/quality logs and documentation.
Clean and sanitize distilling equipment.
Produce high quality spirits using a variety of stills.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ year experience in a production brewery or distillery (or beverage manufacturing plant).
Working knowledge of the brewing/distilling process.
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
