Job Title: Distinguished Scientist, Systems Toxicology
Location: Cambridge, MA
About the Job
Are you ready to shape the future of medicine? The race is on to speed up drug discovery and development to find answers for patients and their families. Your skills could be critical in helping our teams accelerate progress.
Sanofi has a deep commitment to supporting patient safety throughout the entire research and development process. Based on this principle, Preclinical Safety is seeking an experienced scientist with broad expertise in advanced approaches in network and pathway toxicology, applied toxicogenomics, and translational safety to support risk assessment of candidate molecules in our pipeline.
This role requires a deep understanding of toxicology, biological networks, and omics data. The successful candidate will lead efforts to apply this knowledge toward a deeper understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying drug toxicity, working collaboratively with colleagues and subject matter experts across multidisciplinary teams. Further, the candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies for mechanistic toxicology assessment, providing expert guidance on related issues, interacting with the Digital Toxicology group at Sanofi, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
The successful candidate will have superior communication and networking skills that will enable successful integration of safety information and result in actionable outcomes that ultimately improve patient safety. Staying current with advancements in the toxicology field, mentoring junior scientists, and collaborating with cross-functional teams are also key to success in this role.
We are an innovative global healthcare company with one purpose: to chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives. We’re also a company where you can flourish and grow your career, with countless opportunities to explore, make connections with people, and stretch the limits of what you thought was possible. Ready to get started?
