The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. The Data Infra team at LinkedIn builds the systems that construct, store, and process all data in the Company. We are looking for a Distinguished Engineer who is able to work across our data pipeline systems to address systemic problems such as data lineage, system performance and efficiency, and data reliability. Working with a team of senior engineers, the individual will develop innovative solutions that span multiple systems, drive those solutions into execution, and be accountable for delivering timely improvements in production. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant work experience  Experience leading technical projects with multiple stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: Experience of technical leadership guiding and mentoring top engineering Experience leading high-impact, cross-company initiatives Dream big. The pay range for this role is $238,000 to $390,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plan.
