This is a professional level Information Systems position under the direct supervision of the Distributed Computer Systems Administrator for DOH-Collier County. The position is responsible for independently providing technical support to staff across DOH-Collier offices, troubleshooting and maintaining computer systems, phone systems, and other office technology. Assisting in support of DOH-Collier operations. The incumbent also serves as the technical back-up to the Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, a strong problem solver, comfortable training in a classroom or one-on-one setting. Contributes to the organization’s culture of performance excellence and continuously demonstrates the Department’s ICARE values. Responsibilities: + Provide helpdesk support to end-users locally and remotely resolving technical issues promptly. + Troubleshoot and maintain computer hardware, software, mobile, and peripheral devices. + Install, configure, and update computer systems, software, and hardware. + Maintain and support computer systems, VoIP phone systems, and perform emergency repairs. + Document problems and resolutions. + Provide desktop application support in a Windows environment. + Provides classroom and one-on-one training of Microsoft Applications, Security, and other applications. + Creates training materials and provides security and systems access training to new employees. + Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and resolve complex technical problems. + Travel to DOH-Collier offices to provide on-site technical support as required. + Maintain local IT knowledgebase current. + Assist with all IT inventory functions and responsibilities. + Assist with all IT purchasing functions and responsibilities. + Provide support and assist with the administration of local dental System. + Assist with administration and audit access of local Health System. + Perform assigned duties according to established Disaster Response Plans for both Division and Agency. + Assist in defining desired outcomes, action steps and time frames for "Quality in Action" for the department. + Other duties as assigned, including providing back-up coverage for IT Staff as needed. Qualifications: Required: + Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Preferred: • Experience working in an Information Technology Support environment. • Experience in customer call documentation and tracking system/ticketing system. • College or trade school education in Information Technology field. • Experience in supporting Windows 10 or newer Windows operating systems & compatible applications. • Experience in support of MS Office 365 applications. • Experience managing mobile devices in a mobile device management environment. • Experience using remote control applications.
