Your Role:
The Distribution Associate 2 – 1st Shift role at MilliporeSigma in Milwaukee, WI plays a critical role in the fulfillment of customer orders through the activities of receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of life science materials. Starting pay rate is $22.15/hour. Job duties include:
1st Shift Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:00pmLoad and unload freightOperate equipment to produce documents for workloadLocate, move, deliver or return all materials to proper areasPrepares materials for shipmentAccurately document all movement of materialsAudit inventory locations to maintain inventory and location accuracyVerifies chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special requests information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in packing instructionsPrints and applies all required labels and markings to box to comply with hazardous materials regulationsCondenses, straightens, and maintains warehouse areasWorks with team leads and supervisors to troubleshoot systems issuesReports unsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to team leads or any member of managementMiscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned
Physical Attributes:
May involve standing for long periods of time, operating powered industrial equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of fulfillment, customer service, or warehousing experienceStrong professional communication skills to interact with all levels of staff, both orally and writtenAbility to work quickly and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with computers, scanners, printers, and shipping equipment Must follow all good distribution practices (GDP), where applicable.RSREMD
