What will I be doing?
At Airgas, our trusted Expeditor is responsible for providing full support to the distribution center receiving department by performing the duties listed below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:
Audit inbound purchase orders and receiving transactions for accuracy
Research, resolve, and correspond with vendors and intercompany branches about incoming shipment issues
Research, resolve, and correspond with accounts payable about invoice issues
Support receiving supervisor and staff by executing various administrative tasks
SUPPORTING DUTIES may also include:
Unload and stage shipments to be received
Verify accuracy, receive and stage products to be put-away
Put-Away and replenish products to be picked
Pick and stage products to be shipped
Verify accuracy and pack products to be shipped
Wrap skids, stack boxes and manifest shipments to be delivered to customers
Other warehouse related tasks as assigned

Detail oriented
Able to manage strict deadlines
Able to multitask and take direction from multiple sources
PC skills and proficient in MS Office and Google Suites software
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Organized and function with little managerial direction
Ability to work well across departmental lines
Manufacturing/Distribution experience desirable
Working knowledge of SAP
Good analytical skills; competency for understanding metrics and ability to present and communicate to management
Must be a self-starter, have a sense of urgency, be personable, independent, and have the ability to achieve goals and focus on details
Team player with positive attitude, strong collaborative skills, and the ability to influence without having direct authority
Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds
Ability to read, speak, write, spell, and understand the English language
Preferred Experience
3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
