As the Distribution Center Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of 20+ non-exempt employees in the CVS Health's distribution facility. In this role, you will direct workflow for warehouse employees and lead their team to meet and exceed daily targets. You will manage day to day work operations and evaluate work performance. Assists manager in the total leadership and operations with initiative, leadership and continuous improvement thinking.
***This is a Monday- Friday, 1st shift role. Shift is 6:00am-3:00pm, with additional flexibility to work Saturday as needed. Supervisor is required to come in earlier prior to shift start and stay later shift ends***
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
+ Promotes and reinforces safety and security awareness and compliance among all colleagues.
+ Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products.
+ Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.
+ Manages day to day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded.
+ Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations.
+ Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 3+ years experience within a Distribution Center/Warehouse
+ 2+ years supervisory experience
+ 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Background in Six Sigma production techniques
+ Bi-Lingual preferred
**Education**
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $85,068.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
