Distribution Center Operations Supervisor
We're Hiring: Distribution Center Operations Supervisor
Are you a natural leader with a passion for optimizing warehouse operations? We’re looking for a Distribution Center Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, drive process improvements, and ensure a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Lead and manage daily operations, including inventory, customer service, and safety compliance.✅ Assign and delegate tasks to warehouse associates, ensuring smooth workflows.✅ Analyze reports, develop strategies, and make data-driven decisions to optimize efficiency.✅ Oversee employee scheduling and timekeeping to meet business needs.✅ Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.✅ Interview and evaluate candidates for associate positions.✅ Monitor staffing levels and provide ongoing training and development.✅ Promote a culture of high performance, teamwork, and continuous improvement.✅ Ensure a safe working environment by addressing safety concerns proactively.✅ Collaborate with internal teams and third-party carriers to enhance operations.
Qualifications:
✔ Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business preferred.
3+ years of experience in warehouse/distribution center operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.

✔ Skills & Knowledge:
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
Experience with OSHA safety regulations and compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

✔ Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse setting.
Comfortable standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and operating warehouse equipment as needed.
Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and overtime as business needs require.

Compensation: Annual Salary = $65,000 - $75,000. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.Profit sharing is available to eligible employees; this discretionary program is dependent on the profitability of the company.
