The Channel Marketing Advisor will work closely with the Distribution Channel Sales team in support of sales, distribution partners, sub-distribution partners and BTR partners in the planning and executing of marketing plans and programs that increase Zebra market share. Will directly work with and direct programs with the contracted BDMs within the distribution partners that cover the regional market and develop and execute aligned channel marketing plans with targeted partners to address business/marketing challenges. This position will also own the development of annual business/marketing plans through collaborative planning processes aligned with Zebra’s go-to-market initiatives with the unique strengths of each distributor and deliver a plan with clear goals, objectives and metrics.


Responsibilities:
Strategize and align on the marketing initiatives with the DCAMs (Distribution Channel Account Managers), Channel Sales Director, BDMs and the Sr. Director of Channel MarketingExecute marketing and enablement plans for all distribution, sub-distribution, and BTR partners utilizing a combination of MDF/COOP and Program Spend in the most effective manner that is aligned with established priorities and plans; Manage the yearly budget allocationDevelop and maintain the overall Distribution, Sub-Distribution and BTR marketing plans and programs for channel partners and Broadline Technology ResellersMonitor, measure and report plan performance against objectives to determine ROILead product launch planning across the portfolio for the partners, channel sales team, aggregating information and plans by segmentRepresent distribution channel marketing in planning sessions, reviews and events as requiredProvide and lead marketing support for distribution marketing initiatives including event planning, content creation and communicationManage, train and keep track of all partner activities managed through the program tool Vistex. Manage and approve all projects and budgetDeliver value-add as a strategic partner to Distribution Sales Management and account teams in alignment with the respective sales and business objectivesDeliver “Voice of Customer” insight for developing channel and marketing programs and other business needs/requirement Identify the most effective and efficient marketing solution to address challenge (i.e. create and execute targeted campaigns, field events, executive programs, tradeshows, customer references, industry association events and telemarketing)Accelerate go-to-market execution and close partner marketing capabilities gap. Boost partner go-to-market effectiveness and leverage the Marketing Accelerator platform (programs, tools, content) and associated marketing agencies to develop and execute the partner related marketing initiativesProactively and consultatively suggest potential marketing approaches to grow and accelerate revenue generation; Facilitate better decision making together with the channel account manager and partnerCollaborate with peers in the broader marketing organization to ensure a level of consistency is maintained with all market-facing activitiesEducate the channel current promotions, product releases and programs as neededOptimize and align investments with best-practices; Monitor and report performance metricsExpand account penetration by establishing relationships in management, marketing and salesContribute to regional and global marketing strategy development to ensure alignment and readinessMonitor, measure and report plan performance against objectives to determine ROI Design, develop and execute marketing and enablement plans for targeted partnersPresent an overview/status of the activities they are driving and the results they are achieving at a quarterly business reviewDevelop comprehensive regional GTM marketing plan with clear goals/objectivesMarketing performance reporting and quarterly reviewVoice of customer insight and checkpointsBusiness alignment with product/business unit stakeholders
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with business or marketing focus10+ years as a marketing strategist in a B-B corporate- Distribution Channel marketing positionFluent in Spanish English and Portuguese preferred (for LATAM region)

Preferred Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of distribution (IT and Value Add) and partner routes-to-marketExperience transforming business objectives into marketing goals/strategiesExperience in product, solution and vertical marketing, including integrated campaign developmentWhole product lifecycle marketing experience—from NPI to EOLDemonstrated ability to drive decisions, deliver results on short timelines, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of channel GTM readiness and financial health of the channel
