Description Perform detailed design of overhead and/or underground electric distribution systems. This work includes the preparation of field notes, drawings, specifications, and design estimates. Possess an analytical competence to interact with variety of individuals including engineers and experienced distribution system designers. Some experience with design. Ideally AEGIS and if not then some distribution design experience would be great as well. Overhead is preferred. Underground would be a second preference. Could be a remote person. Identify broke poles, wire down, damage assessment, running tickets, etc. This will be needed during storms at times. Skills Design, Distribution design, Utility design Additional Skills & Qualifications If not design heavy load calculation is also a big plus from a skillset standpoint. Acceptable Software: CAD, ArcGIS, Solidworks, Microstation, Maximo. Software is not seen as a limiting factor. • AutoCAD or similar programs preferred • Proficient use of engineering software (Preferred) • No certifications required Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
