POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Drafter for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in our San Antonio, Texas office.

Roles and Responsibilities

The position will work with electrical engineers and designers to develop utility construction packages from conception through construction. The candidate should be able to work in design teams, be self-motivated to perform assigned tasks, and take initiative to learn new skills. Further, the candidate should be able to learn new software packages efficiently and retain and apply on the job training.

Required Education/ExperienceAssociate’s degree in an accredited program or the ability to demonstrate comprehension of AutoCAD and/or MicroStationMust be able to successfully pass client's background screening processMust have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordDesired Education/ExperienceStrong understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) software with emphasis on AutoCAD and MicroStationStrong written and oral communications skillsSome travel should be expected
