The Atlanta Beverage Base Plant is seeking a Distribution & Logistics Analyst to act as the primary liaison between the plant, SPM, Materials Management, and Shared Services teams. This role facilitates effective communication between these areas and provides critical feedback from the Manufacturing Center (MC).
What You'll Do for Us:
Manage, adjust, and communicate MF60 staging movements from the CPS NA warehouse to ensure supply chain continuity.Direct finished goods, ingredients, and packaging materials movements; manage and support daily MF60 staging operations processes.Serve as the functional link between operations, distribution, and the Supply Planning Process (SPP), SPM, and Shared Services teams, acting as the primary input source for production teams.Act as the main Operations Inventory Analyst contact, providing and receiving information.Attend key meetings, including Pre-SPP, Daily Schedule Meeting, Production and Receiving Performance Management, MRB Team, Demand Planning, and any other required forums.Execute material availability planning, ensuring accurate information is provided for the SPP process and weekly production planning.Evaluate ingredient coverage reports and validate critical materials and action plans provided by the Inventory Analyst and Regional Buyers.Analyze missing material reports against availability data from Regional Planner Buyers and coordinate with the local SPP leader/scheduler to optimize production sequencing.Engage with warehouse teams, production planners, and Inventory Analysts to resolve ingredient availability issues.Identify and report ingredient constraints during the daily operations call.Support monthly Regional SPP processes and MRB mitigation efforts.Maintain master data to optimize replenishment and production routings, ensuring effective capacity management.Compliance & Continuous Improvement Responsibilities:
Adhere to Food Safety, Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Occupational Health, and Safety), KORE Corporate Standards, and all applicable legal requirements.Ensure compliance with internal policies, plans, and procedures that support continuous improvement.Actively participate in OE (Operational Excellence) activities, such as 5S, workplace audits, T-Cards, Idea Cards, Big C, TIP Plan, Communication Center, etc.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by sharing innovative ideas, identifying discrepancies, and working with leadership to resolve process deviations.Integrated Management System Responsibilities:
Participate in individual and team objective setting to support continuous improvement in quality, occupational safety, and environmental impact.Ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards, including:ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)FSSC 22000 (Food Safety)Obtain and maintain all necessary certifications, training, and working instructions related to quality, safety, and environmental regulations.Report any accidents, incidents, or potential risks that could impact safety, the environment, product quality, or plant performance.Utilize the Communication Center and corrective action systems to document and resolve process deviations, preventing recurrence.Support initiatives to improve environmental, occupational safety, and quality standards while reducing human error.All associates have the authority to halt material use, production, or shipments if product quality, integrity, safety, environment, or consumer health is at risk.General Position Details:
Work is performed in office, plant, and warehouse environments with normal noise levels and controlled temperature changes.Requires occasional walking, bending, and extended periods of sitting.Involves light physical effort with minimal exposure to adverse conditions.Travel may be required (5%–25%).Requires frequent visual and mental focus (21%–50% of the time).Work involves computer usage for reports, presentations, and communication.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.May involve exposure to fumes, gases, dust, strong odors, and/or high temperatures; respirator or safety equipment use may be required.Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Production Planning, Materials Planning, and Inventory Management.What We Can Do for You
