Seeking a highly qualified Distribution Operations Manager to lead all aspects of distribution with service to all of the Denver, Co. area.
This individual will report directly to me and deliver outstanding critical success metric results through 3 distribution supervisors and 16 people. Assuming the right qualifications and desire to grow exist, this person has the potential to be in direct line for future advancement.

Key Responsibilities:Works directly with warehouse management & sales team to develop, test and implement process changes that align with customer requirements. Formulates mid-term to long-term planning and implements strategies with appropriate partners while being passionate about meeting customer needs.Owns the team in achieving goals and objectives by implementing effective customer improvement strategies and leading customer-focused projects.Applies operational information technologies and uses them to gain an edge within the division.Participates in all sales and distributions weekly and monthly meetings. Communicates action items to the appropriate individuals within the two groups.Leads and participates in special committees, task groups, projects, and audits.Makes informal/formal presentations and facilitates meetings as needed.Prepares a variety of reports.Performs other duties as assigned.Hiring Criteria:Interpersonal and presentational skills to work well with various levels of Thermo Fisher personnel & customers.Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and possess the ability to communicate sophisticated ideas in a simple way. Must be able to apply principles of logic to define areas of opportunities, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.Must influence others and lead others without direct authority.Must be able to interact in a cross-functional team environment. A customer-focused approach and interest in continuously improving services for both internal and external customers.Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and have general WMS experience.Role model leader with the ability to lead with the Thermo Fisher values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.Distribution Services Logistics Manager will be responsible for leading the management and implementation of cross-functional projects within Distribution Operations.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Management or related field, preferred.Minimum of 5 years experience in Distribution or Logistics.PPI/Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing experience required.P&L experience is preferred.Proven understanding of infrastructure and operational needs of multiple distribution centers and the sales organizations.This position has been approved for Relocation AssistancePay range for this position: $103,900 to $142,900

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $79,700.00–$119,600.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
