Distribution Marketing Manager

Maintain a firm understanding of the broker-dealer and advisory marketplace, as well as FIA/RILA product offerings, while aligning strategies to address both our distribution model and the distinct needs and value propositions of external market segments. Identify opportunities to drive sales results through automated and lifecycle marketing campaigns, content development, and strong product positioning. Create strategic marketing and communication plans and execute in collaboration with our dedicated Agile team. Drive proactive collaboration with marketing leadership, distribution partners and support departments to ensure accuracy, effectiveness and on-time delivery of marketing initiatives. You will report to the Sr. Director of Distribution Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and execute strategic marketing initiatives that support and drive sales momentum across multiple product lines for distribution, including:

• Identify target markets, segments and key touch points for marketing initiatives.

• Recommend marketing projects, solutions and plans of action that drive sales results.

• Execute and manage initiatives on time and within budget.

• Ensure accurate measurement and reporting of marketing initiative and campaign results.

• Identify opportunities to improve existing positioning and marketing content.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, competitive activities and programs.

Manage projects

• Provide product/distribution expertise and marketing direction for communications, content, positioning, and promotions.

• Manage the development process of marketing projects with creative services and other marketing partners.

• Maintain communication and collaboration on projects and programs.

• Assist with special projects as required.

Manage relationships

• Drive communication with marketing, distribution and all functional areas to proactively promote and gain alignment on marketing initiatives.

• Build strong relationships with peers in marketing, distribution and other business partners.

• Collaborate with product development, distribution and training in the launch of new products.

• Appropriately influence decisions to reflect the desired direction for marketing initiatives.

What you bring:

• 6+ years of experience required in Financial Services Industry with minimum of 5+ years in sales and/or marketing

• Strong RILA and FIA sales positioning and product knowledge; firm understanding of marketplace  

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

• You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc.). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.
