Distribution Marketing Specialist

The opportunity

We are looking for experienced and result-driven marketing specialist who will manage distribution marketing campaigns to drive business value. This role will be the main point of contact for Distribution Teams across the different lines of business, in the areas of Brand, Content, Propositions, and Digital Marketing, managing marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.

As a critical member of the team, you will collaborate closely with the Brand and Propositions Teams to develop and execute comprehensive campaigns or projects to enable Distribution Teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in activating Distribution teams to achieve sales goals, ensuring brand compliance, and managing stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the Manulife brand by activating distribution channels and turning them into ambassadors of the brand.

The role directly impacts our Brand Equity scores and Sales targets by driving the right intermediary KPIs. The role reports to the Head of Brand, Content, & Digital who reports to the Philippines CMO.

Distribution Activation

Reviews and monitors tactical and strategic sponsorship proposals from Distribution teams

Develop and implement Distribution activation elements for Brand and Proposition campaigns

Build and manage strong partnerships with Zone Heads to effectively cascade campaigns to the distribution team

Support the development of Agency Value Proposition as aligned with our Global Brand Strategy

Develops Distribution Teams into brand ambassadors through training and enablement

Ensures compliance of Distribution teams to Brand and Social Media guidelines

Co-creates training modules with Training teams and conducts trainings on the Global Brand Strategy to all Distribution teams

Creative development and production

Spearheads content  development of distribution-related materials including design templates for distribution use

Works with creative agencies to ideate and produce a variety of short-form and long-form content to promote our Agent Value Proposition and support recruitment initiatives

Designs, curates, and sources branded merchandise for Distribution channels

Provides creative guidance for Distribution-related initiatives including event conceptualization, collaterals, and promotional content

Collaborate with Brand and Propositions to create and manage Distribution content calendar

Brand Governance

Manage the implementation of the Global Brand Strategy for distributors across the different lines of business and act as the point of contact for brand governance for Distribution teams.

Review and approve distribution channel creatives to ensure brand compliance and consistency.

Conducts regular review of Distribution content on social for brand compliance and liaises with Agency compliance for appropriate action

Marketing Operations

Maintain and update the Budget monitoring report with the latest budget allocations, actual spending, and commitments.

Manage onboarding and accreditation for new vendors.

Process billings for payment for partners and vendors.

Manages the inventory of Manulife branded merchandise for Distribution teams Manage the administration of company-approved Creative tools (I.e. Canva for Enterprise,.) for Distribution teams


Corporate Social Responsibility

Supports the Brand team in implementing Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives through partner activities

Engages the Distribution Teams in Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives

What we are looking for

At least 5 years experience in account management/partner management roles within an agency and/or a brand. Experience in Financial services (insurance/bank/investments) is a plus provided you can still think outside of the category norm.

Proven expertise in stakeholder and relationship management  to effectively influence people at all levels of the organization and manage multi-stakeholder projects and campaigns

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and creative agencies.

Demonstrated ability to ideate and produce compelling creative content across various formats

Excellent presentation skills to effectively cascade campaigns to Distribution teams

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines effectively.

Flexible and results oriented to be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Has good problem-solving skills

Self-motivated and customer-focused

Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Experience in event management from ideation to execution is preferred

Proven experience in budget management, project reporting, and vendor coordination.

Proactive, innovative, and results-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and marketing innovation.
