About the role:

The Distribution Operations Manager is responsible for Warehousing, distribution and transportation, capital project justification, risk analysis, and new technology implementation. This position is part of the Distribution Center, located in Romeoville, IL and will be on site.

 

In this role, you will:

Oversee warehousing, distribution, and transportation for Hach products in North America, managing solutions for operational issues.

Lead and mentor people managers and staff, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.

Drive process improvements and contribute to project selection, participating in and facilitating improvement projects and kaizen activities.

Develop communication strategies for safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics, interfacing with other managers to meet shared goals.

Conduct performance reviews, manage labor needs, and support cross-training for flexibility.

Monitor and manage departmental budgets, including budget approval and ISO compliance.

Contribute to strategic planning, benchmarking, and the Policy Deployment objectives.

Support supplier logistics requirements, key accounts, and special customer requests.

Are you qualified?

Minimum of 5 years of experience demonstrating servant leadership with direct reports required

Demonstrated proficiency in successful time and project management required

Working knowledge of various distribution processes required

Experience with ERP / WMS Systems required

Previous experience working with Lean Manufacturing Methodologies a plus

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $118,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
