We are putting innovation to work to improve people’s lives and we want YOU to be a part of it. **Job Description** Job Description for **DISTRIBUTION REPLENISHMENT PLANNER (DRP)** **Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Role** + Analyze sales short/mid term demand forecast versus actual in order to optimize inventory level + Purchase finished goods/raw material from Albemarle production sites or third party warehouses/suppliers + Maintain inventory target levels by following customer orders/forecast and placing resupply/replenishment orders with respecting lead-times + Cooperate with sales and business team to set safety stock levels where needed + Interaction with production sites and TPEM team to ensure the resupply orders are committed and ready to process in TM system + Follow up the status of replenishment and if any delay which impact customer order(s) notify the customer service department + Strong collaboration with Warehouse Operation team on inventory management to reduce cost (respect FIFO rule, slow moving stock, disposal option etc.) + Fill in and monitor KPI’s and maintain the dashboard + Manage the ISO fleet movements in SAP where applicable + Maintain batch allocation for certain customers where special requirements + Prepare and attend on various meetings like huddle, supply review, JBC priority call etc. + Collaborate with Sales and Business team when situation of capacity or product shortages + Follow up 3rd party warehouse issues with Warehouse Operation team in case of product loss, damaged product etc. + Open and follow up quality notification in SAP in case of product quality issue + Maintain data integrity with needed SAP adjustment + Lease and interact with other departments to identify and evaluate support needed from distribution in order to improve business performance + Perform all duties in accordance with Albemarle policies, work instructions and procedures + Meet with and satisfy the defined metrics/KPIs + Collaboration with internal and external auditors for data, reports, and follow-up on questions and issues + Escalate issues to the Team Leader/ Line Manager when it goes beyond the roles and responsibilities and further impact on the performance is foreseeable **Requirements** + College or University degree in Economics, Logistics, supply chain, or chemical engineering + Minimum 3-5 years of Supply Chain or Logistics experience + Advanced communication level in English (both written and verbal) is a must any additional language is a plus + Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Having good understanding of purchasing, material management, inventory management processes + ERP system knowledge, SAP MM/SD modules are preferred + Forecast analytics tools like IBP knowledge is a plus + Power BI (Power queries) knowledge is a plus + Logical thinking and pay attention to the details under pressure as well + Excellent problem solving skills + Good time-manager and be able to organize his/her day-to-day tasks + Costumer focused attitude; meet or exceed customer expectations + Good interpersonal skills **Benefits of Joining Albemarle** + Competitive compensation + Comprehensive benefits package + A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.
