To enable this, an above-the-market Centre of Excellence has been established to perform key functional areas within PLAN, spanning over all Diageo’s markets in Northern Europe, harnessing a central pool of expertise that ensures standard and effective practices across countries.                             **About the Role** This role sits with the global Planning team in Diageo which is a key part of Diageo’s Supply Chain and Procurement organisation with an ambition to deliver “Best-In-Class” service and inventory performance by collaborating across the end-to-end Supply Chain. We are building an extraordinary Planning Organisation, based on standardised processes and ways of working, which will spotlight Diageo's status as a top of the industry CPG and our “must dos” set out where we strive to win to achieve this aspiration. The Distribution Requirements Planner’s (DRP) primary remit is to lead all aspects of stock movements across the supply chain network, maintaining optimal stock cover at each of the locations (plants and warehouses), ensuring minimum distribution costs and is responsible to communicate stock availability to commercial team. The role includes planning and coordination of stock transfers among the network nodes (including 3rd parties) in collaboration with production sites and Supply Planning teams encompassing planning of supply of imported products with manufacturing plants, 3PL’s, carriers, customs, etc within your assigned market. **Accountabilities and Responsibilities:** + Be the single point of contact to the commercial team for supply of product into the market to ensure product continuity and providing availability dates. + Confirm stock availability and inbounds date for customer order delivery. + Run Status report for product availability and share with commercial and demand planning team. + Cooperation with Logistic specialist for PO amendments providing corrected inbound date and inbound stock quantity. + Manage stock transfers between markets (OOH). + Collaboration with logistic team on warehouse space planning, market split per warehouse and future inbound projection. + Support in management of the phasing in & out of products during it product life cycle. + Support in management of slow-moving stock with the objective of minimising the write-off of obsolete finished products. + Drive stock destruction, request stock block for allocation purposes. + Monthly S&OP Supply Review input and active part in S&OE reviews​ **About you** + Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in appropriate supply chain, mathematical, Logistics, engineering, or other business-related degree coupled with good experience working within the Production or Distribution Planning process; Consumer Packaged Goods Industry preferred. + Proficient in the use of planning software within Supply Planning (SAP APO system and Business Intelligence/BW) would be required. + You must have a baseline understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes; Supply Planning, Distribution. + Requirements Planning, Inventory Planning, Conversion, Logistics with outstanding Procurement and Customer Service skillset. + Strong analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills. + Effective communicator – verbal, written and presentation. + Proficient in MS applications e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook.      **Working with Us** Flexibility is key to success in our business and many of our people work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time, compressed hours, flexible location.
