Distribution Sales Manager – Mass Distribution

Job location: working remote in one of European countries – with travels across Europe

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager - Mass Distribution to lead our sales efforts across Europe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and expanding relationships with distributors and sub-distributors in the region. This role involves driving revenue growth through developing strategies, executing sales plans, and ensuring optimal product distribution through a large and diverse network. CORE JOB DUTIES

Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the European mass distribution market.Distributor & Sub-Distributor Management: Develop and nurture relationships with key distributors and sub-distributors across Europe. Monitor their performance and ensure adherence to company goals and standards.Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities by expanding distribution networks and managing regional sales growth initiatives.Sales Performance & Forecasting: Track sales performance, analyze sales trends, and provide accurate sales forecasts. Collaborate with management to adjust strategies based on market conditions and performance data.Contract Negotiation & Compliance: Lead contract negotiations with distributors, ensuring agreements align with company objectives and legal requirements. Maintain compliance with distribution laws and regulations.Provide feedback to Product Management on market trends and needs for future product portfolio.Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Management, Marketing, Logistics and Product teams to ensure that product distribution aligns with the company's overall strategy.Travel: Conduct regular visits to key partners, trade shows, and industry events to strengthen relationships and stay current on market developments.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sales management within the mass distribution sector, with a proven track record of managing distributors and sub-distributors across multiple countries in Europe.Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the European mass distribution market, including regulatory frameworks, market trends, and competitive landscape.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through distribution channels.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with distribution partners and customers.Track record of managing internal relationships and demonstrated experience in leading sustained change and change management efforts.Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to drive sales strategies and plans.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration.Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed
