Overview The Distribution SCADA Engineer will be responsible for the SCADA database and SCADA modeling activities in the ADMS and/or SCADA systems, either as part of overall project delivery or as part of the ongoing maintenance and day to day support of the system. The SCADA Engineer must be knowledgeable and customer-oriented within the operational technology domain and should possess superior technical expertise on SCADA, DMS, and OMS and a problem-solving aptitude. Responsibilities Coordinate with DCC Operators the following: Timing of SCADA Sync Timing of Model Incremental Updates from GIS Alarm Groupings and Assignments Model-to-SCADA Linking of RTUs as Required Troubleshoot FLISR Events as Required Execute SCADA Rollouts as Required Work with SCADA P2P Engineers as Required Troubleshoot / Validate SCADA Model Incremental Updates Re-Schema Databases as Required Qualifications Requires 2-10 years of experience of SCADA data modeling, operational support of real-time control systems Experience with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure ADMS or AspenTech/OSI Monarch OpenView preferred Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage all SCADA responsibilities, day to day Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present information to various audiences in both formal and informal settings Strong customer service focus with the proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and internal and external stakeholders which includes excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills Ability to deploy a structured approach to problem solving and work practices Requires a bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience Benefits*: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of: Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. 401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
