Distribution Specialist

Dixon is looking for a Distribution Specialist to join our team in Pewaukee, WI! The Distribution Specialist will perform various warehouse tasks including unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory. Operates hand trucks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures. May view or input information into a warehouse management system (WMS) or enterprise resource system (ERP). Tasks will also include light assembly and kitting. Works under moderate supervision. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Receive, put away stock, pick orders, and pack shipments Maintain neat and orderly workspace Count Inventory and Rectify Issues Assist with projects as needed Assembly and Kitting per Work Orders Job roles may change day to day

Willingness to get along with team members Forklift certification preferred Sense of urgency Flexibility Problem solving skills Ability to apply basic reading and shop math skills Mechanical aptitude
