The Distribution Specialist is responsible for packaging and handling materials for internal and external customers. This position is part of the Logistics Department located in Fargo, ND and will be on-site. You will be a part of the Packaging team and report to the supervisor of ASDS. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Package and handle all materials in accordance to the established SOP’s. + Communicate with internal departments to plan packaging events. + Complete associated GMP paperwork to document that the correct material is packaged and staged for shipment. Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in Aldevron’s tracking systems. The essential requirements of the job include: + High School Diploma or equivalent + Ability to follow, revise, and review SOPs and abide by GMP requirements. + Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 20 pounds, and reach overhead. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods of time. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + 1+ year of relevant work experience in an office environment, preferably in a regulated environment. + Cold chain sample storage and transfer experience. + Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment. The hourly range for this role is $20/hour USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
