Summary:

This role will be responsible for performing warehouse tasks within the Distribution Center primarily utilizing Material Handling Equipment (MHE).  Examples of MHE include cherry picker, reach truck, double reach, sit down forklift and motorized pallet jack.

Core Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers manually and/or using MHE to include manual pallet jack, motorized pallet jack, sit down or standup forklift, and standing reach truck.Accurately counts, verifies, and receives product using radio frequency (RF) equipment and/or Voice Pick TechnologyDocuments variancesMoves case of product from the inbound dock to storage locations in the warehouse using a standing reach truck or stock pickerMoves pallets and/or cases from reserve location to pick location using a standing reach truck, stock picker, or sit down forkliftOperates a forklift and picks items as high as 35 feet in the airBuilds pallets and delivers them to designated area for shippingUses sit down forklift, electric or manual pallet jack to load palletsMaintains a safe and clean work environmentFollows safety policies and procedures and corrects or communicates hazards to managementMaintains productivity and quality standards

  

Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:

Able to count and perform basic math calculationsDemonstrated ability to operate various MHEAbility to follow general sequencing and process proceduresAttention to detail a must.  Teammate must be skilled to identify errors down to the single digit or letter.Attendance records will be reviewed for all internal candidates.
