Job Title: Distributor Account Manager

Job Overview:
The Distributor Account Manager is responsible for shaping and executing strategies with an established distributor partner. This role focuses on building strong sales branch relationships, enabling regional and local sales, and converting corporate objectives into actionable short- and medium-term initiatives. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Distribution Channel, this position drives joint sales, marketing, and inventory strategies to support daily operations and increase pull-through sales.

Responsibilities:

Partner Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with corporate, regional, and local sales leaders, with a focus on regional and local engagement. Facilitate communication between key stakeholders at the distributor and CommScope to align strategies, drive pull-through, and generate incremental sales. Joint Strategy Execution: Create, own, and implement a comprehensive distribution account strategy that aligns with CommScope’s business objectives. Ensure execution leads to measurable revenue growth and market differentiation. Operational Support: Oversee distribution operations, including inventory management, term sheets, forecasting, and reporting, to ensure efficiency and operational excellence. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales Directors, Territory Account Managers, and National Account Managers to align strategies and execute joint initiatives. Enhancing Partner Experience: Position CommScope as the preferred partner by delivering a superior partner experience that differentiates CommScope from competitors.

Required Qualifications:

Sales and Channel Expertise: 5+ years of experience in sales, distribution management, and channel strategy within the technology industry, with a track record of successful annual sales planning and execution. Program Management: Proven ability to develop and manage sales and channel initiatives with consistent alignment and execution. Strategic Influence: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. Operational Acumen: Solid understanding of distribution business models, financials, and operations, coupled with strong program management, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Value Proposition Expertise: Ability to deliver compelling value propositions that drive adoption and revenue growth for distribution partners. Collaborative Leadership: Effective in cross-functional, matrixed environments, excelling as both a team leader and a team player. Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
