Position Summary


Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the District Manager (Outside Sales Representative) is accountable for maintaining and managing relationships with several existing accounts, mainly Retail Stores, LCBO, as well as developing new business opportunities in their region. This position will cover a territory GTA North, including Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Richmond Hill, & Vaughn

The ideal candidate will live in or be willing to relocate to Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Richmond Hill, & Vaughn

Responsibilities

Promotes and increases sales within territory through aggressive execution of national and regional marketing strategies while working with company policies, resources and budgetsIncreases overall distribution of core and agency brands in liquor board retail stores, private stores and some licenseesDevelops sales objectives and oversees activities at all retail outletsManages new product launchesExecutes merchandising and promotional programs as per national and regional strategies Call account tracking, administrative reports, shelving and display programs Manages advertising and promotion budget within fiscal allocations as outlined by regional office Functions cooperatively and effectively within a team environment; contributes to overall team objectives and dynamics 
 

Preferred Education and Experience

Minimum of 2 years related outside sales experience 3+ years' related wine and spirits experience as an asset. University degree or relevant work experience
