Location:  Pensacola, Crestview & Defuniak Springs, FL area

 

Through their leadership, the District Manager is responsible for achieving company goals and growth, employee relations, business trends, and ensuring that company policies and standards are being met in each school. The District Manager is specifically tasked with the management of Directors and support teams in the schools assigned to their district, and work alongside them to ensure they develop personally and professionally. 

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Business preferredMinimum of three (3) years as a School Director; two (2) years management experience in a multi-school or multi-site environment, preferredSolid experience in managing profit and loss statementsWorking knowledge of regulatory requirementsMust be a team player and leaderExceptional organizational skillsExcellent customer service skillsOutstanding oral and written communication skillsAbility to solve complex issues and conflictsDemonstrates compassion and is respectful toward all constituenciesAbility to interact and work with diverse culturesAssumes responsibility of district and makes sound decisionsProficient in Word, Excel, and Google SheetsAbility to travel within the district every weekRequires a valid driver's license and maintains a good driving record

Responsibilities Visit each school within the district at least every two weeksComplete quarterly reviews using the company financial and safety checklists along with the applicable state licensing and sanitation checklists to assure comliance with all requirements.Evaluate school adherence to the company safety manual with emphasis on equipment and vehicle maintenance, building security, teacher supervision, and driver qualifications.Review school revenue and expense reporting to assure accuracy and discuss budgetary status, oulining areas for improvement and recognizing exceptional performance with each visitMonitor accounts receivable to ensure vaility and collectability of all outstanding accounts.Evaluate each schools' overall program quality to ensure company curriculum and "best practices" are implemented correctly in each classroom.Provide School Directors with continuous feedback regarding performanceComplete documented performance evaluations on an annual basis and develop professional development plans for all School Directors.Develop strong community relationships with other early childhood organizations to enhance the company brand and create potential opportunities for collaboration. Review and confirm that School Directors appropriately prepare commitment to excellence reports.Assist the School Directors with budget preparation and submit to corporate for approvalSuggest improvements and policy modifications that will enhance our corporate environment.
