District Manager MH EE Last Updated Date: Oct 26, 2024 Location: DE Company: Doosan Bobcat EMEA (Germany) Job Information Position Summary: Need to manage 2 different brands and relative networks in Region EE driving the dealers in order to grow their and our business with clear ideas trough a day to day business relationship Manage (evaluate, develop, support, drive, shape, consult) several exclusive dealer networks of different DICE product groups in the region of responsibility, following the company’s overall strategy. Drive the brands’ market-presence, /-share and/-reputation amongst dealers, customers, opinion-leaders and other stakeholders, while ensuring that profitability goals are met or exceeded. Role & Responsibility Capacity of interpret the market trend: + Good skills in the interpretation of the market trend and capability to figure out basic actions to adapt dealer network results to those identified changes. Knowledge of the market and of the competitor activity Team spirit: + The candidate has to be open mind to work with a team spirit, used to work with objectives both given by the company but also by himself in order to define a proper road map to achieve them Market appearance: + In collaboration with the back office select, organize, run, report and evaluate brand awareness/reputation forming activities like fairs, road shows, advertising campaigns, press-contacts. + Monitor, drive and develop the CI conform market appearance of all outlets of our sales-partners in respect to facility and service-fleet branding, internet, communication, service-personnel work-wear. Willing to travel: + The candidate should be willing to travel extensively in the area of responsibility.This is not a responsibility but a characteristic of the position Network Development: + Capability to figure out possible change in the actual network defining timing and procedure with solid BP analysis + Constantly monitor, develop and evaluate the network’s performance and development, based on the company’s strategy and performance measurement tools. + Initiate and manage network restructuring processes when necessary. Team leader: + The candidate needs to know how to drive a mature dealer network as well as a young one in terms of sales, marketing and forecasting (sales and wholesales) in a medium long term vision in order to grow them in MS penetration and total turnover Dealer support: + Be the first response contact for dealer questions in respect to product, sales and marketing in the daily business + Support dealer and represent the brands in customer visits when necessary + Keep close contact to dealers, to generate mutual trust, profitable business and long term partnership Market Intelligence: + Be the back-office’s ear on the market and monitor/report the development of new trends in pricing, communication, products, customer needs and respective sales tools. + Closely watch the situation in competitive distribution networks and try to leverage where possible and advantageous for DICE. Demand planning & market forecasting: + Plan, discuss and agree a marketing plan with the dealers in the region of responsibility and drive its fulfillment. + Monthly forecast the demand for the districts under responsibility and proactively inform the back office about foreseen demand-changes in the market. Job Requirement + Education & Qualification: Business Administration - University / Engineering - University /Allow Equivalent + Experience: 7>10 years + Travel Standard: 10 - 24 % + with 5/8 (3) years of experience in exclusive dealer network management in the industrial goods sector + Global Breadth: Multi-Site (> One Location) + Prerequisite Training Course: Basic product (machine & attachment) concept + Good technical understanding + Understanding of the functionalities within a dealership + Knowledge of the different customer requirements by customer segment + Knowledge of the characteristics of the CE market (in general and regional) + Fluent English + Good knowledge and use of Power point and excel of MS Office + ability to organise himself + open minded + self-driven + flexibility + stress resistant + hands on “problem-solver” + dependability + entrepreneur
