Key Responsibilities:

Program Management and Evaluation

Coordinate and consult with Project Coordinator to ensure smooth running CNSP project activities at the project site.Organize partners meetings with DFCDR and provincial level and with District Health Team for project activities awareness and implementation.Coordinate & mobilize the resources and requirements of the project activities

Quality Assurance

Monitor and document project implementation and make recommendations as appropriate to M & E Officer and Provincial Project coordinator.Contribute in developing training materials to suite the need, local context and language.Assess and provide support to the Department of Community Development and Religion (DfCDR) and local leaders through regular on-site supervisory and advisory visits to enhance partners and community’s competence

Representation & Networking

Develop and maintain excellent relationships with partners (DFCDR, CommDEV workers), district and local level government, local organizations and community groupsPromote open discussions with community leaders to evaluate.

Documentation

Provide monthly statistical reports on-timeProvide monthly progress reports, assist in compilation of quarterly, biannual, annual and end of project report

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEMinimum of Bachelor's degree or college qualification in social work, agriculture, economics and business, health and public health. Preferably social sciencesCertificate in community development backgroundAt least 2-3 years of experience in implementing projects engaging various stakeholders/partners.Experience in partners engagement and networkingExperience in working with Provincial and District Government OfficesExperience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writingExperience in Community mobilization and leadership roleExperience in community development as a backgroundBasic understanding of project management cycle principlesEffective in written and oral communication; able to speak and write with a high standard of English.Good networking and partnership development skillsSound knowledge in PNG Government systems and programsComputer literateCommunication, advocacy & facilitation skills
