Job Title District Registrar and Director of Academic Support Services Posting Number F006300 Position Status Full Time Assignment Length Not Applicable Grant Funded No Category APT Class Code 11 Starting Pay $114,514 Special Note Commensurate with education and experience Location District Department DT Academic Support Services Job Summary Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment & Academic Support, the District Registrar and Director of Academic Support Services is responsible for providing district leadership for the development and implementation of services designed to support the academic community, the TCC mission, and the success of TCC students. This position provides district level leadership and supervision for Campus Registrar Offices. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements* Provides administration of the Office of Academic Support Services and implements procedures required for section support, degree audit, program and course table maintenance, course-by-course articulation, institution to institution articulation, transfer of credit disputes, publication of the master calendar, and other office activities Provides leadership for special projects assigned to the office and to committees charged with various development and implementation tasks to enhance TCC programs and services Oversees the development of training programs for procedures within the scope of the office’s responsibility Monitors federal, state, and local regulations governing higher education and accreditation standards to ensure activities and services of the office are in full compliance Liaisons with other institutions to articulate and expedite transfer of program and course credit


General Supervision and Management Provides leadership, direction, on-going monitoring, and support for all Campus Registrar Offices
Service Excellence Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Supervision Works under the general supervision of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment & Academic Support

Required Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree Three (3) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements Three (3) years of experience supervising professional staff (e.g., managing and evaluating performance of others) Preferred Qualifications At least one (1) year’s working experience in a Registrar’s office At least one (1) year’s working experience with College Student Information Systems At least one (1) year’s working experience in college admissions, registration, academic regulations, statutes and policies Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication Skilled using computerized applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly while exhibiting strong attention to detail and organization Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations Ability to delegate work appropriately to faculty and staff to meet College and campus deliverables Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
