Job Description

The District Sales Executive orchestrates involvement of multiple people in our Sales process, so that new customer revenue is consistently secured for our district office and Expeditors network. The role is focused on attracting, closing local accounts and ensuring continual business growth within the District.

Tasks and Duties:

Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this areaTimely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management toolBuild relationships with Customer & collaborate with regional team, Geo, and Knowledge Management resourcesCreate value-added solutions for customer’s logistics needs, including Network Diagrams & Cost benefit solutionsSupport the transition of new accountsSupport AR (accounts receivable) collectionOwn Credit setup process with new customers onboardAttend training & development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledgeInvolvement in local trade groups, as directed by the DSMMake 50 sales calls every month or as directed by DSMMake required number of joint calls as directed by DSMMeet required individual budgetsHave diversified sales pipeline across verticals & Expeditors serviceTake on additional assignments as required, supporting company needs

QualificationsOral and written proficiency in the English languageWell versed with the trade market2- 5 years of sales experience in the required market.Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work productively both individually and in a team environmentSense of urgency for goal achievementSelf-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong rapport and relationship-building focusedEmpowered to make quick decisions in response to changing conditionsInfluences others to actionTimeliness and accountability for resultsPresentation skills
