integrated sales team providing exceptional service to a diverse client base. The
DSE is responsible for collaborating with an experienced Management team
in the development of client specific solutions while integrating leading edge
technologies, which will add value throughout the supply chain.
Building and maintaining positive internal and customer business relationships is
critical to the DSE’s success.
The DSE orchestrates involvement of multiple people in our Sales process, so that
new customer revenue is consistently secured for our district office and Expeditors
network. The focus of the DSE is local B & C sized companies, as defined by our
Sales program. A Senior DSE may pursue larger sized companies when directed by
the District Sales Manager.
Working Conditions/Requirements
The District Sales Executive role is based on interaction with employeesat an Expeditors district office, including but not limited to participationin the weekly Sales meeting. The ability to be present at the district officeduring standard working hours must be maintained.An Expeditors District Sales Executive is expected to visit companycontacts at their offices. The ability to either drive to or to be driven tothe customer’s locations must be maintained.No more than normal physical effort or positional stress required.Intermittent walking, sitting or standing with normal expenditure of energy.Data entry on a laptop computer is required.Oral and written proficiency in the English language.Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work productively both individually and in a team environment.Propensity to successfully manage priorities and respond to deadlinesahead of schedule.Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast paced and constantlychanging environment.Key Deliverables
