Job Goals:
This position is responsible for sales and business development in support of the CoreTech product and capabilities portfolio, including sputtered films, coated films, and specialty release liners. The role requires a strong focus on account management and business development activities across the Midwest and Western territories of North America. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and expand the existing customer base, identify new opportunities for both current and developmental products, and generate accurate sales forecasts for the territory. Additionally, they will be responsible for gathering and sharing competitive intelligence to inform business strategy, while also supporting marketing and product management initiatives. A key aspect of the role involves mapping the industrial landscape within the territory to identify growth opportunities in the Life Sciences, Automotive, Electronics, Habitat, and Aerospace markets in collaboration with market management.
Essential Functions of the Position:
Grow and strengthen existing accounts by leveraging current products and co-developed solutions while identifying new opportunities with potential customers. Coordinate with customer service and manufacturing to ensure accurate and timely communication of customer demand, enabling efficient production scheduling to meet sales and service objectives. Ensure accurate sales reporting by maintaining up-to-date records of all activities in Salesforce. Identify new business opportunities by gathering competitive intelligence and tracking emerging market and technology trends, contributing to the development of new CoreTech product and market strategies. Collaborate with the CoreTech business team to leverage market insights and product expertise, driving new business development. Build and maintain internal networks within Saint-Gobain to uncover and pursue cross-selling opportunities. Facilitate clear communication across all levels of CoreTech, including sales management, technical staff, marketing, customer service, and operations, to address customer needs and maximize growth opportunities.
