Under the guidance and close supervision of the line manager, this incumbent will address the overall project situation, and to provide advice to the GoB for the creation of an integrated national disease surveillance system and to set the stage for needed policy dialogues concerning the existing disease surveillance system.

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

To increase SRHR service access, availability and utilization in marginalized and vulnerable communities in the districtTo increase institutional deliveries at UHFWCsTo increase comprehensive and integrated SRHR service access, availability and utilization at UHFWCsTo improve comprehensive and integrated SRHR service access, availability and utilization at UHCs/MCWCs/DHsTo improve resilience and adaptability of community and health systems to respond to climate change and humanitarian events vis-à-vis SRHRTo strengthen community mechanisms to increase awareness about comprehensive and integrated SRHR services and utilization of these services from the health facilities To maintain good working relations with all UNFPA IP’s to get maximum result.

Compliance

Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. She will act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

Safeguarding/ PSEA

Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. She will follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Special Assignment

Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor;Ready to work in any natural disaster or emergency anywhere in Bangladesh.

Required Qualifications MBBS and MPH completed from any registerd and reputed institute.Minimum 5 years of similar work experience in NGO Public Health/ Health Sector Preferred Qualifications Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Team-building and motivation skillsQuick and informed decision-makingSkills in prioritizing and organizing the workGood in written and spoken English. Proficiency in the computer using, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
