\nPurpose: The objective of this requirement is to obtain contracted logistics support services to supplement the SDVT-2 workforce and help it achieve continued effective operations and sustain adequate logistics support of the Combat Dive program.
\n
\nResponsibilities (include but not limited to):\n\n\tConduct preventative and corrective maintenance as mandated by OPNAVINST 4790 (series) and as scheduled in 3M for all Underwater Propulsion, Navigation, Communications, and Environmental Protection systems.\n\tPerform maintenance documentation and administer PMS SKED computer program.\n\tConduct spot-inventories of Underwater Propulsion, Navigation, Communications, and Environmental Protection equipment.\n\tPerform customer service for issue and receipt of equipment.\n\tInventory repair parts and project needs for procurement.  Solicit quotes from vendors and provide to Government personnel for procurement.\n\tMaintain inventory of HAZMAT and tools.\n\tMaintain cleanliness of work area (Dive warehouse).\n\tMaintains accurate inventory through the use of DPAS, or equivalent authorized Government property management system, and provide accurate issuance documentation and distribution to SDVT-2 Task Units/Platoons.\n\tAssist with the preventative and corrective maintenance of the MK-16 and MK 25 UBA and support equipment.\n\tInventory and stow all Submarine and DCS SOF Carry-On (COH) equipment separate from non SOF COH equipment.\n\tEnsure all SOF COH equipment is maintained/kept in a SOF COH status.\n\n 
\nRequirements:
\nGeneral -\n\n\n\tPossess Navy Dive School certification (NEC 5342/5342 NEC M2DV/M1DV or higher).\n\tPossess certification as factory trained technician for diving equipment within inventory, propulsion equipment within inventory, DLSS Re-Entry Control (REC) Supervisor, oxygen clean system worker, and MK-16 & MK 25 UBA maintenance technician\n\tPossess qualification as Material Maintenance Management (3M) Maintenance Man, 3M QA Craftsman, and 3M Work Center Supervisor.\n\tPossess working knowledge of both NAVSEA/NOSSA Lithium battery Material Maintenance & storage instructions, to include.\n\tPossess working knowledge of Submarine and DCS SOF COH requirements for underwater propulsion, navigation, communications, and environmental protection systems.\n\tPossess ability to travel TAD/TDY if required to conduct off site in water training and maintenance utilizing underwater propulsion, navigation, communications, and environmental protection equipment.\n\tMust possess an active SECRET security clearance.\n\tMust have 2 years minimum of technical experience in Naval Warfare, or equivalent TYCOM, inventory management concepts, practices, and procedures, to include government and industry best practices. \n\n
