Join us as a Diversified Industries Group (DIG) / Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Investment Banking Associate at Barclays Canada where you advise clients on a wide range of strategic transactions. You will have the opportunity to conduct industry research, analyze key trends and opportunities. The DIG/ M&A Associate develops financial models, valuations and manages the execution of transactions. You will prepare and deliver presentations to clients and senior leadership, while nurturing and building strong relationships with other industry professionals.

To be successful in this role you should have 2-4 years of relevant experience as well as a deep understanding of the DIG sector or previous M&A experienceProven track record of being involved in executing transactions, high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, client management and demonstrated leadership ability in guiding and training the juniors of the team are traits highly favored by the teamStrong verbal and written communication skills along with a Bachelor's degree in finance or related field along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are also skills required for this role. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience originating deals in the DIG or M&A space, identifying potential clients and/or opportunities.
