What you’ll do:

As a Diversion Prevention Support Analyst you are responsible for performing various auditing and oversight activities of enterprise-wide diversion prevention software and clinical applications. The analyst is also responsible for supporting Lifepoint facilities with training, education and reviews of various diversion prevention reports and clinical applications. 

Responsibilities:

Fulfill duties and responsibilities assigned or delegated by Manager, Director or AVP.Utilize data mining and analysis to evaluate all sources of necessary data and reporting to monitor, identify, investigate, and mitigate controlled substance compliance risks. Use analytical skills and tools to create audit reports that identify and summarize findings such as policy or process gaps, regulatory deficiencies, or other deviation in target areas to articulate and / or quantify concern or risk. Escalate concerns and make recommendations to leadership for monitoring and audit discrepancy response and resolution as well as corrective actions when necessary.  Make recommendations on training procedures regarding controlled substances or other monitoring, auditing, and discrepancy resolution. Facilitates proactive and for cause audits to support facility diversion prevention reviews and investigations. Analyzes data from audits, transaction, and user trend reports, and EHR documentation to identify diversion risks, establish policies and procedures, and make recommendations for prevention. Provides training and support for the field in various clinical informatic reports and diversion prevention software.


What you’ll need:

Education: High School Diploma required

Experience: Minimum three (3) years’ experience with pharmacy medication management and diversion prevention pharmacy software. Minimum one (1) year experience using ControlCheck diversion prevention software required

Certifications: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
