This position involves managing various accounting functions related to supporting division leadership as well as the operational units. This position requires a high level of responsibility in maintaining accounting controls as they relate to various Parker systems and programs. Works under the supervision of the Division Controller. Works closely with other members of the Finance Team, other Division departments/functions, and Corporate Finance. Has broad discretion as to details of job responsibilities and assignments of a varied and diverse nature. • Maintain general ledger in accordance with GAAP and company policy • Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes • Manages all audits, external, internal and SOX • Coordinates the annual budget and monthly forecast • Accounts for rebates and sales discount programs • Maintain property systems records including taxes • Provide account reconciliation and business analysis as required • Prepare monthly reports and analysis for the division and corporate • Ensure all cost and other accounting systems meet corporate guidelines • Maintain highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction and people productivity • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance • 7-10 years experience in Parker related discipline • 5 years supervisory experience preferred Parker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
