Division Business Performance Leader - Market Management

The Business Performance Leader supports a Division Leader in delivering regular business performance reviews with a goal to communicate metric outcomes and financial results, drive accountability, and facilitate resource tradeoffs to achieve Business Unit objectives. This individual leads a team of consultants supporting markets, working to create timely standard and proactive ad-hoc reporting for stakeholders. The leader will regularly work across the firm and with market management stakeholders to align on and execute ambitious annual business objectives and support a multi-year planning process that optimizes growth, efficiency, and the increase of healthy, long-term market share.

What You'll Do:Lead the Monthly Performance Review process for a division leader, leveraging and improving national best practices, providing analytic, financial, and operational consulting for division team on potential adjustments to achieve targets and objectives. Regularly leverage data and reporting from a variety of sources to identify the biggest opportunities for a division and constituent markets. Develop, create, and scale ad-hoc reporting improving the "state of the art" across all divisions. Provide consultation to the Division Leader recommending strategies, executing root cause analysis, and articulating trade-offs. Facilitate annual and ongoing strategic and operational planning at the Division level in concert with market leaders and Market Management Leadership Team, negotiating resourcing across markets, divisions, and segments and documenting long range plans to drive accountability. Lead creation of sales, revenue, and expense forecasts and develop targets to achieve a sustainable business model aligned to market outcomes. Account for competitive landscape and specific competitors when shaping plans and strategies. Collaborate with, and influence across, peers and leadership within business performance team, escalating opportunities and best practices to drive organizational improvements, present and influence at senior most branch development and enterprise levels. Partner across organization broadly, including Human Capital, Firm Analytics, Finance, and Data & Insights organizations. Formally and informally leads a matrixed team supporting division leaders and constituent markets in activities listed above, within own team, across market management, and across the firm broadly. Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
