Position Details

What you will do in this role:

Provides oversight to the division quality program; Ensures compliance with state, federal, and the Joint Commission regulations.

Supervises the division quality director.

Participates with leaders from the governing body, management, medical staff and clinical areas in development and ongoing review of the hospital’s mission, strategic plans, budget, resource allocation, operational plans, and policies.

Develops, implements, and continuously evaluates programs to promote recruitment, retention, and continuing education of nursing staff members

Responsible for establishing and approving professional care and practice standards for nursing in collaboration with members of the nursing staff: policies and procedures, nursing standards of patient care and nursing practice taking into consideration patient care services, age of patient population, uniform standards of care, available resources and assessed patient care requirements.


Qualifications

Qualification:

Master’s degree in Nursing with 5+ years’ leadership experience required.

Five experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, mental illness, and geriatric patients preferred. Experience in patient assessments, group therapy, treatment planning and the daily operations in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings. Experience in leading a high-performing team at a director level or above. Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing. May be required to work flexible hours. Up to 60% Travel Required
