Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
This Division administrative leader partners with the Division physician leader to form a Dyad Leadership Model in which co-planning, co-decision-making, and execution is required. The administrative Divisional leadership role is responsible for strategy development, planning, execution, and performance of the Division and its associated Service Lines. The primary focus is on building high-performing Service Lines within the Division that include; growth, high-quality care, exceptional patient experience, frictionless access, strong production and financial performance, and solid network integrity. Significant focus will be placed on service line strategy, planning, development, provider and staff engagement and integration, communication, and optimization and transformation of key performance indicators. Alignment of the physician services enterprise with VHC Health’s mission, vision and anchors is critical.
Education:
Master's degree in health or business administration preferred; or,
Bachelor's degree required; and
10 years of experience practice management experience to include; financial, human resource and operational management, and a sound understanding of ambulatory care
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of progressive physician practice management or related health care managementStrong understanding and experience working in a matrix organization and leading by influence
Excellent communication, good judgement and strong decision-making skills, build relationships and ability to create engagement
Proven ability to perform strategic planning, risk and opportunity assessments, and implement successfully
Ability to write a business plan, perform a SWOT analysis and understand financial statements and develop proforma’s
Expert understanding of operations, transformation and change management with a proven record of demonstrating success
Expert understanding of process optimization, and redesign with the ability to develop performance management and benchmarking to support best practices
Certification/Licensure:
Lean/six sigma training (Green belt preferred); Process improvement experience preferred
Certifications valued: CMPE or FACHE or Lean Six Sigma
