Division Order Analyst III
**Job Summary** The Division Order Analyst III will be fully proficient in all division order responsibilities. This position is considered a senior-level position within the Division Order Department. The Division Order Analyst III will address and seek resolution of complex division order-related issues. This position will mentor and provide training to junior level analysts for an assigned geographical area. This position requires a highly motivated individual, capable of achieving results independently with little supervision. **Duties and Responsibilities** + Establishes and maintains divisions of interest for revenue distribution and joint interest billing + Initiates pay code changes and ownership transfers of intermediate to advanced complexity within SAP + Assists division order management as needed + Researches and responds to phone calls, emails, and written inquiries from interest owners in a timely manner + Prepares Division Orders and Transfer Orders accurately and promptly as needed + Works closely internally with all Land disciplines, Revenue Accounting, JIB Accounting, Legal, Marketing, and Reserves groups, and externally with contract landmen, brokers, title attorneys, WI partners, and revenue interest owners to achieve company goals + Promotes, cultivates, and maintains good professional relationships with colleagues and external interest owners + Mentor and train junior-level analysts + Other duties as assigned **Skills and Competencies** + Responsible for creating record title ownership of producing properties in a specific geographic area through detailed analysis of title opinions, leases, assignments, deeds, probates, farm-out agreements, operating agreements, and other legal documents + Determines ownership through laws of descent and distribution/intestate succession when appropriate + Courage - Stepping up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said + Decision quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward + Resourcefulness - Securing and deploying resources effectively and efficiently + Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university + Minimum of five (5) years of related experience + Fully proficient level knowledge of land concepts and division order responsibilities + Experienced with land data systems such as SAP, QLS, etc. + An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Law or Business + Five (5) years of experience with an active oil and gas exploration company + Certified Division Order Analyst **Physical Requirements and Working Conditions** + Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping + Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds + Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator Continental Resources, Inc. provides equal employment and affirmative action opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), age, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.
