Divisional Aftersales Director, Nissan
We have an opportunity to join the senior Vertu Motors team in our Renault Nissan division.
Reporting directly into our Renault Nissan Group Operations Director, this role forms part of a strong divisional team who will work together to set and drive the direction and strategy for our Nissan division covering North East, Yorkshire, Scotland and West Midlands areas. As the Nissan Divisional Aftersales Director, you will provide the Group Operations Director with brand specific aftersales support working closely with the manufacturer and our Group Aftersales Director. You will take the lead in relation to supporting the General Managers and Aftersales Managers in relation to the delivery of all operational aftersales objectives, manufacturer requirements and franchise standards. Experience dealing with volume manufacturers and contributing at a strategic level to thinking and decision making is essential. We are looking for you to be able to demonstrate a successful track record in a similar role, ideally with Nissan franchise experience, however this is not essential.
You must be steadfastly customer centric and be able to develop and deliver tactics that deliver long-term customer relationships as you will be responsible to drive positive customer outcomes in the division.
The effective and innovative use of existing digital tools, technological solutions and data is now a major consideration for the future success and growth of any business in our sector and you will need to be able to embrace this to be successful in this role. You will also be responsible to review new technological changes and manufacturer initiatives in relation to their potential impact on the division’s operational performance and their ability to deliver measurable improvements in our performance. You will lead their implementation and ongoing delivery.
It is expected that this role has significant operational engagement with the aftersales management team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and develop the capability of individuals and of a wider management team. You will also lead the aftersales team to deliver our people objectives of 80% colleague stability and 90% of colleagues rating us as a great place to work. Developing a high-performing team of aftersales colleagues will be one of your primary leadership objectives.
