Description We are looking for an experienced Divisional/Plant Controller to join our team in Pineville, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, reporting, and budgeting within a manufacturing environment. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a growing business.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and provide leadership to a team of 3-4 accounting professionals, ensuring accuracy in general ledger accounting and reporting.
• Oversee financial planning and analysis (FP& A), including budgeting and reporting processes.
• Utilize and maintain accounting systems, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Handle complex inventory and cost accounting processes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Supervise the month-end close process, ensuring completion within a three-day timeframe.
• Coordinate with external auditors, such as EY, to facilitate efficient auditing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures while driving process improvements. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Proficiency with accounting software systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
• Expertise in inventory and cost accounting within a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with auditing processes and working with external auditors.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities.
