General Summary:
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Division Sales Manager, Kroger Team. This role will be responsible for delivering profitable volume growth and provide overall management and leadership with the Kroger Divisions.  This individual identifies, develops, directs, and manages strategic selling plan to drive feature and display expansion efforts with specific Kroger Divisions.  This position will be field based and will require frequent travel to Kroger Divisions and to the Customer Team office located in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Approximately 50-60% travel required.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Division Management- Manage a group of Kroger Divisions including execution of Campbell Meals & Beverage Assortment, Shelf, Displays and Case fill objectives. 
• Sales Planning- Develop goals and priorities for each Kroger Division including opportunities to ensure display availability for key promotions, divisional programs that tackle market share decline or specific shopper segments and support against Kroger HQ programs and a focus on local or seasonal opportunities is key to incremental growth.  Conduct monthly/quarterly planning meetings with key Kroger Divisions to develop yearly growth goals for Volume, Distribution and Investment. Identify market specific business development opportunities to grow Campbell Meals & Beverage share. 
• Pricing- Identify market pricing opportunities and make recommendations including objectives for any change proposed. Notify and gain commitment from Divisions once price changes have been approved.  Ensure target F&D events are executed. 
• Volume Driving Initiatives- Identify performance gaps to plan and recommend corrective actions. Develop the tactics and resource plan for initiatives to ensure effective execution and communicate plan of action to all stakeholders.  Gain commitment from the key Kroger Divisions to support the plan and ensure their cooperation throughout the timeframe for execution.

Job Complexity:
• Helps deliver significant volume growth, while maintaining continued growth in profitability
• Provides overall management and leadership of the Divisional planning, reporting and post promotional analysis.  
• Provides reporting, analysis and KPI’s to hold everyone accountable to deliver the objectives set on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Leads the communication of new products, product expansion, promotional plan development, category management, division key drive window management, etc.
• Works with Customer Sales Leads and our supply chain partners to establish Best in Class forecasts on growth drivers that includes pallets and shippers to drive incremental growth and manages to those objectives.
• Ensures execution of key events and programming, including identification of objectives that are aligned with the strategic marketing plan and meets overall sales goals.
• Maintains regular contacts with Kroger Division Sales Coordinators that significantly improves our relationship and ensuring that programs are executed in a timely, high quality and value-added way.
• Provides pricing recommendations and analysis for divisions on key items within our portfolio.
• Conducts special projects as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.


Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university and 5+ years sales experience in the CPG industry
• Strategic thinker with desire to disrupt & innovate
• Strong business, analytical, & financial acumen
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external partners and customers
• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the team
• Collaborative problem solver with an innovative, challenger mindset
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent people management skills
• Bachelor’s degree
• Travel, 50-60%, all domestic

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$85,900-$140,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
